What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is about being in the here and now

Mindfulness is about being in this present moment in time

Mindfulness is about being non judgemental

Mindfulness is about taking a few minutes in the day to notice whats around you, concentrate on what you are currently doing be it making a cup of coffee or watching the world go by out the window

Mindfulness is about noticing things you've never noticed before

Mindfulness is about emptying the clutter from your mind even if its for a few minutes

Mindfulness is about meditation and peace of mind

Its a known fact that the pace of life is getting faster and many of us are constantly living in the future.

You many not realise that you are living in the future but you are. How you ask? 

Well when you wake up first thing in the morning, what are you thinking?


You are thinking about your day ahead of you, you are planning your day ahead before you have even got out of bed. 

You don't believe me do you?.  


You are thinking about getting the kids off to school, travelling to work, what you have to do at work, your brain is making a list for tomorrow, the day after and the month after that.


This is what I mean by living in the future. on the way home you are thinking about cooking tea, getting the kids to their evening activities, what you have to do tomorrow.

This goes on day in day out, month in month out, year in year out.

we never stop and be in this actual moment in time
